SANTO DOMINGO (Licey.com).- Jorge Bonifacio pegó un cuadrangular, Domingo Santana dio el sencillo para ganar y Danny Salazar lanzó siete entradas de un hit durante la jornada sabatina correspondiente al béisbol de las Grandes Ligas.
En Kansas City, Bonifacio (.252) se fue de 4-1 que fue un jonrón (12), anotó una y remolcó otra (29) para los Reales que superaron con pizarra de 7-2 a los Medias Blancas de Chicago.
Santana (.295) conectó de 4-2 con dos empujadas (53) y una base por bolas, además del hit ganador en la novena entrada en el triunfo de los Cerveceros de Milwaukee 9-8 sobre los Filis en Filadelfia.
En Cleveland, Salazar (4.79) salió sin decisión en el partido en el cual los Indios vencieron en 10 entradas con marcador de 2-1 a los Blue Jays de Toronto.
En siete entradas permitió un imparable con ocho ponches sin boletos ni carreras. De 86 lanzamientos, 61 fueron strikes, le dieron 7 rodados y 3 elevados. Se enfrentó a 21 bateadores.
Hansel Robles (6-1, 5.68) fue el lanzador ganador con labor de un inning y una base por bolas con los Mets que les ganaron en Nueva York con anotación de 6-5 a los Atléticos de Oakland.
En Los Angeles, Pedro Báez (1.54) logró su “hold” número 16 de la temporada al trabajar en 1.2 entradas con un ponchado en la victoria de los Dodgers 6-2 ante los Bravos de Atlanta.
Hanley Ramírez (.253) bateó de 4-1 con una empujada (38) en la derrota de los Medias Rojas de Boston con pizarra de 7-3 ante los Angelinos de Los Angeles en Anaheim.
