SANTO DOMINGO (Licey.com).- Domingo Santana conectó cuadrangular y doble, pero no pudo evitar la derrota de su equipo en la jornada del miércoles correspondiente al béisbol de las Grandes Ligas.
En Pittsburgh, Santana (.294) bateó de 5-3, incluyendo jonrón (16) y doble (20) con dos anotadas y una empujada (51) en la derrota de los Cerveceros de Milwaukee con pizarra de 3-2 en 10 entradas ante los Piratas en Pittsburgh.
Miguel Gómez (.200) se fue de 4-1 para los Gigantes de San Francisco que les ganaron con pizarra de 5-4 en casa a los Indios de Cleveland.
En Boston, César Valdez (6.11) lanzó 4 entradas, cedió un hit con 5 ponches con los Blue Jays de Toronto en un revés con anotación de 5-1 ante los locales Medias Rojas.
También por los vencidos, José Bautista (.230) remolcó una carrera (43) con un elevado de sacrificio en 3 veces al bate.
Arodys Vizcaíno (2.60) trabajó en dos tercios de inning, permitió tres imparables y una vuelta limpia para los Bravos de Atlanta que perdieron en casa con marcador de 8-2 frente a los Cachorros de Chicago,
En Baltimore, Nomar Mazara (.248) recibió un boleto en tres turnos al plato con los Rangers de Texas en un revés con pizarra de 10-2 ante los Orioles.
